Letters'

A letter arrived for father from Mr. Collins and as I was to read it in his absence. It was a very interesting letter because it was saying how Mr. Collins is glad he id not married to one of us. Because of Lydia and her running away with Wickham. When does the drama ever stop well we mustn't' dwell on it. Soon all this should resolved, in the meantime nothing new has become of Bingley and I.

Elizabeth and I went for a walk when the housekeeper came to us thinking it was to call us to go see mother but instead she had said something about news if we had anything new from town. Elizabeth nor I had really any new news. We ran to father because he had received a letter from Mr. Gardiner. Wickham and Lydia are not married yet but it shall happen soon. I can only imagine what is to come next.

               Until the next time.

                           Yours Truly,
                                   Jane
